Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries.

God Loves You Eternally Ministry (G.L.U.e.)

God Loves You Eternally Ministry (G.L.U.e.) is a weekly ministry that meets on Wednesday evenings. It is a ministry for all ages.  We gather for a fellowship meal together. We minister to our different age groups, with our children and youth meeting for songs and Bible study in their various classes. There is also an exciting time of games at the end. The adults serve and clean up after the meal and meet for prayer

Children’s Ministry

We have several areas of ministry to our children.  One area is our weekly Children’s church that is a part of our Sunday morning worship.  It is directed by the faithful leadership of our Children’s church director, Mrs. Debra Miller, and the volunteers that serve in this ministry.  Our children also present to our church an annual Christmas program that is joyous and memorable.  We have a focus on missions each year through our Kids Missionary Klub that is age specific to encourage our children to  participate in and support missions. Each summer we hold a Vacation Bible School that is a week filled with excitement and faith mentoring.

Mission Outreach

Auburn Bible Methodist Church is privileged to be part of spreading of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active as a church and in the Bible Methodist Conference, in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We support missionaries serving in three countries—Mexico, Asia, and the Philippines. Each year, our church commits to give in special offerings and projects to support and assist our missionaries and the national leaders. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools in the best possible way for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are live streamed on our Facebook page and are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communication.

Prayer Gatherings

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each first Sunday of the month, before the evening service, we gather to  pray for our community. On the third Saturday of the month, our men gather to pray for individual needs. Each Wednesday, our adults gather together for a special time of prayer.
